Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Lehrerprofessionsforschung war in den letzten 15 Jahren geprägt durch umfangreiche empirische Forschungsprojekte zur Untersuchung professioneller Kompetenz angehender und praktizierender Lehrkräfte. Zentrale Beiträge und Impulse trugen dabei immer wieder die vielfältigen Studien des TEDS-Forschungsprogramms bei. Beginnend mit den internationalen Vergleichsstudien MT21 und der namensgebenden TEDS-M-Studie zur professionellen Kompetenz angehender Mathematiklehrkräfte, über die Evaluation innovativer Ansätze der Mathematiklehrerausbildung in TEDS-Telekom, die Ausweitung von TEDS-M auf Deutsch und Englisch in TEDS-LT und die Analyse der Entwicklung der professionellen Kompetenz in der Berufseingangsphase in TEDS-FU sowie die Untersuchung von Zusammenhängen zum unterrichtlichen Handeln in TEDS-Unterricht und TEDS-Validierung bis zu vergleichenden Untersuchungen in TEDS-East-West werden in den verschiedenen Studien vielfältige Aspekte zur professionellen Kompetenz von Mathematiklehrkräften empirisch untersucht. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Vielfalt des Forschungsprogramms und beschreibt systematisch die zentralen Charakteristika aller Studien.
