Abstract

Zusammenfassung Trotz der grundsätzlich breiten Anerkennung entdeckenden Lernens als didaktisches Leitprinzip hinkt dessen Umsetzung im alltäglichen Unterricht hinterher. Das Konzept substantieller Lernumgebungen eröffnet Möglichkeiten, dem konstruktiv zu begegnen. Nach jahrelanger Begleitung von Studierenden im Praxissemester der Grundschullehrerausbildung wurde ein Konzept zur reziproken Gestaltung von Spiel- und Dokumenten-Räumen in substantiellen Lernumgebungen entwickelt. Ziel ist es, Prozesse und Produkte des Entdeckens bei möglichst vielen Schülerinnen und Schülern durch die Verwendung selbst erstellter Dokumentationen zu unterstützen. In diesem Zusammenhang stellen sich Fragen nach den Bedingungen für die erfolgreiche Gestaltung von Dokumentations- und Dynamisierungsprozessen, die das individuelle Lernen unterstützen, sowie Fragen nach den Nutzungsmöglichkeiten einer derart gestalteten Lernumgebung.
