Abstract

Zusammenfassung Mathematikdidaktik ist als wissenschaftliche Disziplin mit vielen anderen Bezugswissenschaften vernetzt. Darüber hinaus befindet sich Mathematikdidaktik – wohl mehr als viele eher grundlagenorientierte Wissenschaftsdisziplinen – in einem Spannungsfeld zwischen Empirie auf der einen und Praxis auf der anderen Seite. Dies erfordert immer wieder, zu reflektieren, wo man sich als Mathematikdidaktikerin, als Mathematikdidaktiker positionieren kann oder auch sollte. Der Prolog dieser Festschrift folgt Gedankenspuren, die von den Wurzeln der Mathematikdidaktik als Disziplin ausgehen, Spannungen aufzeigen, eine Positionsbestimmung anregen und Fragen nach der Wirksamkeit anstoßen. Zum Festkolloquium anlässlich des 65. Geburtstages von Bernd Wollring am 31. Oktober 2014 wurden diese Gedanken an der Universität Kassel vorgetragen.
