Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kurzfassung:Grafische Darstellungen besitzen aus verschiedenen Gründen mehr als nur Daseinsberechtigung. Sie dienen als Werkzeug in der Datenanalyse, gleichzeitig helfen sie bei der Kommunikation von Information. Leider wird ihr hohes Potential nicht immer zum besseren Verständnis eingesetzt. In diesem Artikel soll ausgehend von den Möglichkeiten und Gefahren von Visualisierungen in der Stochastik ein intuitiv verständliches stochastisches Konzept vorgestellt werden. „Natürliche Häufigkeiten“ machen statistische Information für Erwachsene ebenso wie für junge Lernende greifbarer.
