The contemporary view of Canadian manufacturing growth and development during the post-Confederation/pre-First World War era has been shaped by the work of Gordon BertramBertram, Gordon, who constructed estimates of constant dollar gross manufacturing output from which he derived annual growth ratesGrowth rate.
