Abstract

This chapter summarizes the 11 case study observations: it systematically illustrates that the completed projects were superior in their success factors across all 11 cases. This summary directly links the statistical success driver constructs from Chap. 5 with the qualitative characterizations from the case studies. This chapter then gives examples from three other countries of how government project governance was changed over time. These examples can serve as an inspiration of the ambition to change governance for the better. Finally, the chapter develops, from the previous analysis, recommendations of how the government might change the governance rules for very large projects in order to achieve more productivity for the country in the future.
