Abstract

In this chapter, we create a media populism ratio based on Farrand and Carrapico’s (2019) key characteristics of populist and technocratic political styles. The self-imposed question, which at the same time constitutes a certain summary of our prior considerations, concerns the role the media might play in shaping the polarisation mechanism. We use the Polish media landscape to highlight some key summarising observations.
