Arithmetic in the Computer/Calculator Age

Abstract

This conference focuses on the possible or likely effects the computer/calculator age and the discipline of computer science will have or should have on the first two years of the college and university level mathematics curriculum. Related and perhaps even more fundamental effects will be those on pre-college mathematics. Any such effects will generate further effects on beginning college level mathematics including, of course, remedial mathematics.
