Abstract

General Morphological Analysis (GMA) is a method for structuring and investigating the total set of relationships contained in multi-dimensional, non-quantifiable, problem complexes. It was originally developed by Professor Fritz Zwicky, the Swiss astrophysicist and aerospace scientist based at the California Institute of Technology. This chapter give an historical and theoretical background to morphological modelling and presents a case study involving organisation structure and change.
