Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between impulsivity, the fear of failure, and entrepreneurial outcomes among Muslim entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on subjective vitality. The study specifically examines this relationship within the context of startups in a completely Muslim society within an emerging market economy, both during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. To gather data, a quantitative approach was employed, and a survey was conducted among 101 Muslim startup owners in Indonesia. The structural models were estimated using WarpPLS. The results showed that perseverance significantly influences subjective vitality. The study also discusses other findings within the specific context of the research and explores their implications for policy.
