Paradigm Shift in Stakeholder's Perspective and Implementation of Dairy Development Policies and Robust Mechanism in Supply Chain and Agro-Business

Abstract

This paper aims to undertake a thorough analysis of the regulatory policies and development schemes, not only examining their relevance and adequacy but also placing a particular emphasis on their sustainability. Descriptive statistics and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (MLRA) technique was used to test the hypothesis to establish a direct and indirect relationships among endogenous and exogenous variables. The sampling frame was drawn from rural and urban regions of India's top ten milk-producing states. Responses were gathered based on demographic characteristics. The research findings suggested a significant relationship between the direct and indirect role of customer expectations about the quality of milk and government dairy policies’ effectiveness. This research is limited to milk processors, dairy companies and dairy scientists in the field of marketing and dairy research. Dairy Farmers, Processors and Producers are vigilant about the quality of food products, especially milk delivered to their end users and their value-addition in the Milk Supply Chain (MSC) and logistics. Dairy firms and business enterprises formulate better marketing strategies for future market expansion of the Milk Supply Chain at a global level. This research found out the efficacy of the model tested the relevance of dairy farming policies from the stakeholder’s perspective, given possible outcomes. This research focuses on the welfare policy of the government and consumer perspective in a generalized manner, with the scope of further research to validate the results.
