Abstract

Positive workplace behavior is essential for ensuring an organization’s sustainability, with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) serving as a prime example. This study examines factors that promote OCB among female employees in Bali’s traditional microfinance institutions, known as Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD), using a sample of 200 female employees. Data analysis was performed with Smart PLS, revealing that work-life balance (WLB) has a substantial positive effect on both organizational commitment (OC) and OCB. The study highlights OC as a crucial mediator in the relationship between WLB and OCB. The findings underscore the importance of fostering WLB for female employees, as they are more likely to face work-related conflicts. Consequently, prioritizing WLB encourages female employees to display OCB.
