Abstract

This research outlines an effective approach for improving ESL students’ business communication skills by blending entrepreneurship development. It promotes the integration of practical communication situations found in the business sphere, straying from traditional language teaching methods. The objective is to evaluate how entrepreneurial training can enhance these students’ business language competencies. It examines the impact of entrepreneurship on specific communication skills such as speaking, writing, and presentation. In this formidable design, seventy-two engineering program participants were randomly split into experimental and control groups. The control group was exposed to conventional language instruction, whereas the experimental group received entrepreneurial training with a focus on business interactions. Evaluations were completed both prior to and following the trial to measure changes in the proficiency of business communication. As per statistical data processed via SPSS, those from the experimental grouping evidenced significant improvement in their business communication skills compared to their peers. This improvement can be attributed to entrepreneurial planning activities and cooperative business communication exercises that stimulate key abilities like organization, efficient communication, and planning skills. The importance of integrating diverse writing exercises within entrepreneurial assignments for enhancing learners’ communication skills is underlined in this study. The conclusions argue that entrepreneurial skills training could potentially boost ESL learners’ capacity for business communication, indicating a viable approach for linguistics instructors.
