Abstract

This study explores how knowledge sharing influences university professors’ intentions to adopt gamification, addressing existing research gaps. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study examines how knowledge sharing affects perceived usefulness, ease of use, and attitudes toward gamification. Data were collected from 204 university professors across various Vietnam disciplines and institutions, including public and private universities. Participants were primarily tenured faculty, all holding master’s or doctoral degrees and proficient in English. The Hayes Process analysis revealed that knowledge sharing significantly enhances adoption intention, mediated by positive perceptions of usefulness, ease of use, and attitudes. The findings emphasize the importance of fostering knowledge exchange to support technology adoption in higher education, offering practical recommendations for institutional leaders and highlighting areas for future research.
