Abstract

When it comes to implementing and evaluating the impact of new technology, each organization is distinct, with its own unique characteristics and needs. A technological system encompasses more than just its specific processes or technical aspects; it is also shaped by how well it is adopted and integrated within the organization. The acceptance rate of this technology among employees and stakeholders plays a critical role in determining its overall performance and effectiveness. Several scholars who have researched the history of industrialisation have remarked that, while there has always been a delay, major technological improvements have always resulted in a significant change in organisational methods. The purpose of this study is to prioritise and analyse Indian employees’ reactions to using technology to create more humane organisations. The methodology used is an online survey of 300 employees was undertaken, with 201 valid responses analysed. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to validate components, and the Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Assessment Method (F-AHP) was utilised to prioritise them. Findings of the study is employees’ attitudes towards technology adoption, such as work tasks, job design, and organisational structure, are significant traits and priorities in creating a humane organisation.
