Abstract

ABSTRACT The role and capacity of women entrepreneurs have contributed to innovation and strong economic growth. The paper presents an integrated conceptual model that describes the interrelationships among Responsible Entrepreneurship, Green Dynamic Capacity, and Green Innovation, and their joint impact on women’s entrepreneurial success. This empirical study was designed as a cross-sectional study, using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationships we proposed, based on a sample of 320 female entrepreneurs in Vietnam. Analytic results confirmed the importance of responsible and social entrepreneurship, supported the idea that green dynamic capacity is relevant, and found that green innovation mediated the relationship between the antecedent constructs and women’s entrepreneurial achievement. The results contribute to the theoretical body of knowledge by advancing understanding of responsible entrepreneurship, green dynamic capacity, and the drivers of success for women entrepreneurs.
