Abstract

The paper explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can support the innovation capabilities of companies. It uses the Potential Innovation Index (PII) model to evaluate innovation practices impacted by AI. Based on six innovation practices: strategy, idea generation, design, project management, human resources management, and information capitalization, the authors highlight that AI enhances data-driven decision-making, collaboration, human resource management, and product personalization. They also identify some concerns in integrating AI into the innovation process such as the need for specialized skills, managing algorithmic biases, and ethical concerns.
