Abstract

Ebers Anatomy is a cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) application developed to modernize the study of human anatomy by enabling direct interaction with highly detailed 3D anatomical models. The application provides accurate illustrations of the male and female human body across multiple systems, including the nervous, skeletal, muscular, reproductive, and other vital systems. Users can isolate, examine, and learn about each component interactively using VR controllers or hand gestures. This dynamic approach enhances spatial understanding and fosters deep learning. Moreover, the application includes embryonic and fetal developmental stages (Week 8 and Week 16) with contextual side notes that explain structural and physiological changes at each stage. Ebers Anatomy transforms anatomy education into a vivid, exploratory experience that supports multiple learning styles and promotes high retention through immersive interaction.
