Abstract

It is well known, accepted and studied that the evolution of digital technologies and practices and the emergence and development of the Internet have had a significant impact on several types of languages and on languages in general: (1) on online communication, that is, on the languages used on websites and on those used on social media platforms or chat; so on Computer-Mediated Communication (and similar devices: tablets, phones, smartwatches/intelligent watches, etc.) and the Internet; (2) On specialized terminologies and languages, related to domains with activity and practices in the online environment; (3) On scientific languages, from fields such as philology (with its multitude of linguistic disciplines), philosophy, anthropology, sociology, education sciences, respectively on interdisciplinary discourses, through which digital technologies are studied, analyzed and integrated into educational processes.
