Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming various facets of organizational operations, and its integration into recruitment processes signifies a paradigm shift in human resource management. This review paper explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and digital leadership within the context of AI-driven recruitment, highlighting both the advancements and challenges. AI recruitment technologies, encompassing resume screening algorithms, and predictive analytics, are revolutionizing traditional hiring methods by enhancing efficiency, reducing biases, and improving candidate experiences. Digital leaders are crucial in navigating this transformation, as they must possess not only technical acumen but also strategic vision to leverage AI effectively. The paper synthesizes findings from a wide array of studies, examining how AI tools streamline recruitment workflows, from candidate sourcing and initial engagement to final selection. Moreover, it discusses the implications for digital leadership, emphasizing the need for leaders to develop new competencies to manage AI systems and foster a culture that embraces technological innovation. This paper contributes to the growing body of literature on AI and digital leadership, offering a roadmap for organizations seeking to navigate the complexities of AI-driven recruitment. Future research directions are proposed, focusing on longitudinal studies to assess the long-term impact of AI on recruitment outcomes and organizational performance.
