Abstract
The purpose of the study was to identify the possibilities and potential of payment services in the modern world, as well as their impact on the sustainability of economic development. The object of the study is payment services in the context of sustainable economic development. The subject of the study was the current possibilities for the development of payment services in the context of sustainable economic development, as well as the potential and prospects for creating new payment services. The article analyzes the possibilities and potential for the development of payment services in the modern world in the context of sustainable economic development. The emphasis is placed on the fact that reliable, fast and secure payment services help preserve and increase company income, stimulate the growth of the manufacturing sector and reduce the risks associated with non-payments and fraud. Attention is drawn to the need for new developments of payment services that meet modern demands. As an illustration, the study presents the developed payment service “Mir Broni” for trade and service enterprises, which allows companies to send and receive prepayments for booking services (and/or goods) and compensate for lost profits. The high potential of payment services in the context of sustainable economic development was noted, and a new opportunity was pointed out to provide modern and more convenient tools that flexibly adapt to the various requirements of different users, and contribute to a significant acceleration of the turnover of funds between market participants through the use of modern payment services.
