Abstract

Tourism is one of the country's most important “industries”. In this context, businesses also develop tourism-related actions. For example, the educational activities of companies in the natural environment are constantly increasing. Businesses prefer to educate and train their executives outdoors with the aim of bringing employees into contact with the natural environment, consolidating a strong organizational culture, free exchange of views, and finally developing team spirit. This particular form of tourism is important and contributes to the sustainable development of many areas and at the same time can shape the appropriate brand name for each company. In the context of educational tourism, those interested choose a destination based on the educational programs and activities offered in the specific region. The analysis of the issue is based on the critical bibliographic review of the subject and the study of statistical data related to the tourism of the educational activities of the companies. Also, a bibliometric analysis will be carried out for the further processing of the bibliographic data. The results of this work are particularly important and any utilization of them will contribute to the upgrading of educational activities of businesses, combined with activities in the context of tourism, in Greece.
