Abstract

In the article, the authors analyze the digitalization trends in the housing and utilities sector in Russia in the context of formation of the digital economy. The authors analyzed and evaluated existing IT solutions. As a result, the experience in the development of digital tools for activities in the housing and utilities sector was systemized. The authors also identified functions important for the sustainable development of the sector, that digital solutions are expected to perform. The monetization models for the main types of digital tools were defined. This research work is of great practical importance, as the authors argue that there is an opportunity to use digital technologies to make reasonable economic decisions, based on expert assessment of the housing services for multi-family housing, and the delivery of quality housing and utilities services in order to improve the efficiency of business processes in the field of housing and utilities.
