Abstract

The solution to the priority world’s scientific problem of ensuring sustainable development and reducing threats to national security within its components – economic, environmental, energy, and social – can be done by forming the foundation of digital eco-energy. For this purpose, the formalization of cross-sectoral and cross-border relationships in the chain “economy – energy – digitalization – national security” is relevant. The aim of this article is to analyze and study the patterns of digital eco-energy in the context of smart development of the energy sector of the national economy. This paper deals with digital eco-energy on improving the countries’ national energy security. For that purpose, the authors conducted the bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer and Scopus tools. The investigation involved 1224 studies focused on digitalization and 1331 studies on the energy sector. Thus, the obtained results demonstrated the strong links between investigating the digitalization trends, particularly the energy sector, smart technology, national security, and sustainable development. Given that, the authors formed the system of main determinants of the digitalization energy sector which will create the preconditions for its smart transformation.
