Abstract

The article deals with the current issues of the formation of a comprehensive “Tourism and Travel” digital platform, which is proposed by the author as one of the options for adapting the tourism sector to the new economic conditions. Serious attention was paid to the issue of information technologies introduction in tourism and the study of the works of many international researchers. Based on the developed digital platform of tourism in the Russian Federation, the author presents a model for the formation of a tourist route of personal choice, as an illustration of the work of this platform. The article considers the promising directions of development of digital information systems and interfaces in the field of tourism in the Russian Federation. It determines the trends related to the inclusion of tourism in the digital environment and the significance of these innovative proposals for the development of tourism.
