Abstract

Based on the relevant data of service outsourcing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2013 to 2017 and Porter’s Diamond Model theory, this paper constructs an evaluation index of service outsourcing industry competitiveness, determines the weight of index factors based on grey correlation degree, and analyzes and processes the index by using the global principal component analysis method. Finally, the comprehensive scores of service outsourcing industry competitiveness in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are obtained. The research finds that Jiangsu Province is the leader of the service outsourcing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region and is better than others in the fierce competition in the Yangtze River Delta region. At the same time, this paper points out that although the service outsourcing industry in the Yangtze River Delta region has a strong overall strength, there are still many deficiencies and challenges, such as the training of professional talents and the adjustment of industrial structure. Therefore, it is necessary to seize the golden opportunity of current development, make full use of the geographical advantages of the eastern coast, and promote the sound and rapid development of the service outsourcing industry in the new period of economic transformation.
