Abstract

The new industrial revolution integrates data and intelligent natural communication concepts, usually known lately as Smart, between people and all the equipment employed in the industrial processes. This new socio-economic context generates the development and adjustment of more and more algorithms integrated in the IT systems of business management. The paper presents the study, based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC), which establishes the priority of processing a certain product, instead of another product, within the study. The principle that has been hereby configured and exemplified stands at the basis of an algorithm which has been developed to be integrated in a computer system dedicated to industrial processes.
