Abstract

In this chapter, you will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of various forms of surveys. A checklist for selecting an appropriate method is discussed. You will receive tips on how to motivate participants to take part in market research, as well as guidelines for structuring a questionnaire and determining its length, including advice on how to identify unreliable responses. The chapter concludes with a list of practical dos and don’ts, featuring numerous examples for the precise formulation of methodologically sound questions, along with guidance on using AI in questionnaire development.
