Abstract

Sustainability is being an important discipline for the society and governments, a research field that require the use and application in Management Science (MS) and Operations Research (OR). In this book, we introduce the topics of MS and OR together with Sustainability. We start with basic concept and present cases, applications, theory, and potential future. Authors contribute chapters to the book to cover as wide array of topics as space permits. Examples are from renewable energy; smart industry; city; transportation; home and smart devices, etc. We discuss future applications, trends, and potential future of this new discipline.
