Las exportaciones de confecciones y el caso de Topy Top

Abstract

Las prendas confeccionadas con algodón peruano han tenido siempre acogida por la alta calidad del insumo. La exportación de confecciones de tejido de punto se ha duplicado en solo cinco años, hasta llegar caso a los mil millones de dólares anuales. En este proceso ha influido el Tratado de Preferencias Arancelarias con los Estados Unidos, pero también un esfuerzo interno de la propia industria. Una de las empresas que más han contribuido con este proceso es Topy Top, una de las dos principales exportadoras del rubro del país, que será parte de este estudio.
