Presentismo en docentes de instituciones de nivel superior en Delicias, Chihuahua

Abstract

Explican qué es el presentismo y buscan determinar cuáles son las enfermedades que presentan los docentes que ocasionan que ejerzan presentismo. La investigación se realizó en instituciones de nivel superior de Delicias, Chihuahua. El tamaño de la muestra fue de 140 docentes. Los padecimientos con más incidencia fueron el resfriado común o gripe presentándolo el 44.4% de los docentes, seguido del 23.6% que padecieron migraña, 20.8% padeció dolor de espalda o lumbalgia, 19.4% sufrió de alergias y en igualdad de porcentaje el 15.3% padeció estrés y asma. Los datos obtenidos indican que los docentes deciden ir a trabajar a pesar de estar enfermos porque creen que lo que padecen no es grave, sin asumir que su productividad se ve disminuida respecto a cuándo están sanos.
