Abstract

En este capítulo analizamos los avances recientes y retos pendientes en la carrera de los docentes en el Perú. Exploramos las condiciones de los estudiantes de docencia, de la formación inicial, del acceso a plazas y empleos, así como las condiciones laborales de los docentes. Para ello, revisamos tanto la literatura nacional como parte de la literatura latinoamericana, y revisamos datos de encuestas nacionales.
