Abstract

Este capitulo presenta un balance de las investigaciones nacionales e internacionales sobre los impactos que una apertura comercial tiene en el bienestar de la población rural. Asimismo, destaca los ejes estratégicos de una agenda complementaria, en términos de la inversión en infraestructura, y las políticas de innovación, de educación y capacitación, de regulación y de desarrollo institucional que serían necesarias para que el sector rural aprovechara las oportunidades de mercado que dichos acuerdos podrían generar.
