Understanding the results of collaboration

Abstract

This chapter examines the perceived success of the collaborations and the reasons behind these. The analysis evaluates various impacts on SMEs resulting from the collaboration and development of enduring relationships between partners. In addition, the relationships between starting levels of experience of university collaboration and the outcomes of the projects are considered.
