Abstract

This chapter is completely devoted to the presentation of the definitions and measures of creativity available within the existing literature and to the discussion of their limitations and drawbacks. Being an intangible and multidimensional factor, creativity is in fact extremely difficult to define and measure. Nevertheless, some approaches have been attempted and they are thoroughly explored.
