Abstract

Colombia es un país con altos niveles de desigualdad de ingresos y la mayoría de sus habitantes considera inequitativa esta situación. De allí la relevancia de medir qué tan lejos están los niños y los jóvenes de un ideal de igualdad de oportunidades. El documento busca responder a preguntas como: ¿Cuál ha sido el avance de la igualdad de oportunidades en Colombia en la última década? ¿Cómo han evolucionado en este período las diferencias regionales y la brecha rural-urbana? ¿En cuáles sectores se está ofreciendo mayor o menor acceso a bienes y servicios básicos de vivienda, educación, salud y tecnología de la información?
