Historia, geografía y puerto como determinantes de la situación social de Buenaventura

Abstract

Este documento analiza tres particularidades que han incidido en la actual situación socio-económica y el alto desempleo en Buenaventura: las características geográficas, el legado histórico y el puerto. Las dos primeras han sido determinantes negativos, retrasando el proceso de crecimiento y desarrollo de la ciudad, y la tercera ha influido en forma positiva.
