Abstract

Historia de la esclavitud en el siglo XVII, cuando Cartagena era el principal puerto y los esclavos africanos podían ser importados legalmente; se describe la dieta de los mismos, las condiciones de salud, la mortalidad, la permanecía mientras eran trasportados a otras regiones o países, los alojamientos, los alimentos que ingresaban y las estadísticas que se llevaban.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la segunda parte del libro Cartagena de Indias en el siglo XVII, titulada "Economía y comercio"
