Abstract

Durante 1951 y 1963 se produce la legislación para otorgar facultades a la Junta Directiva del Banco de la República para el manejo de la política monetaria, crediticia y cambiaria. Se informa sobre la muerte en ejercicio del cargo en 1957 del Doctor Luis Ángel Arango quién fue el creador de la biblioteca que lleva su nombre y se mencionan los directores del banco hasta 1970.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la III parte del libro Historia del Banco de la República 60 años, titulada "Evolución institucional del Banco de la República"
