El efecto del Acompañamiento Pedagógico sobre los rendimientos de los estudiantes de escuelas públicas rurales del Perú

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo es evaluar el efecto del programa de capacitación docente del Ministerio de Educación denominado Acompañamiento Pedagógico sobre el rendimiento escolar e identificar sus principales determinantes. Para dicho fin, se aplica técnicas no experimentales de evaluación de impacto, utilizando los resultados de las pruebas de la Evaluación Censal de Estudiantes del 2013. Los resultados brindan evidencia de impactos positivos y estadísticamente significativos de la intervención evaluada. Sin embargo, el tamaño de esos impactos es relativamente moderado. Varias hipótesis podrían explicar el tamaño del efecto. Estas son discutidas en el texto. Por otro lado, los siguientes factores destacan entre las variables que explican los resultados favorables de la intervención: grado o título de bachiller del acompañante vis a vis título pedagógico y que el acompañante cuente con experiencia multigrado.
