Auswirkungen von Energiepreisschocks auf Produktion und Preise. Ergebnisse der Sonderbefragung zur Energiepreisentwicklung im Rahmen des WIFO-Konjunkturtests vom November 2022

Abstract

Die Anstiege der Energie- und Vorleistungspreise führte zu Verkaufspreiserhöhungen bei den meisten der befragten Unternehmen. Die Preiserhöhungen konnten die Kostenanstiege für die Mehrzahl der Unternehmen nur teilweise kompensieren. Dementsprechend berichten die meisten Unternehmen (65%) von einem Rückgang der Gewinnmargen. Rund die Hälfte der Unternehmen erwartet zwar mittelfristig keine Liquiditätsengpässe aufgrund der angestiegenen Inputpreise, aber rund 14% der befragten Unternehmen befürchten in naher Zukunft Liquiditätsschwierigkeiten, sollte sich die Geschäftslage in den nächsten Monaten wie erwartet entwickeln. Rund 15% der befragten Unternehmen berichten von Produktionsrückgängen aufgrund der Preissteigerungen.
