Abstract

Die Studie analysiert Auswirkungen des Programms der Ländlichen Entwicklung in Österreich für die Periode 2007 bis 2013 auf Wirtschaft und Umwelt. Im Rahmen der Untersuchung wurden umfangreiche Datengrundlagen geschaffen: Indikatoren für die Situation auf dem Arbeitsmarkt allgemein und nach Geschlecht sowie die landwirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnung auf Ebene der NUTS-3-Regionen. Mit Hilfe von Modellen wurden im Rahmen von Ex-ante-Analysen absehbare Auswirkungen quantifiziert. Ohne das Programm wäre die Zahl der Arbeitsplätze außerhalb der Landwirtschaft um bis zu 23.000 niedriger und die regionale Wertschöpfung um bis zu 1,4 Mrd. € geringer. Zudem würde die Landwirtschaft in vielen Regionen zurückgedrängt. Detailliertes Kartenmaterial gibt Aufschluss über die regionalen Auswirkungen eines Wegfalls des Programms.
