Österreich schleppt sich aus der Rezession. Prognose für 2025 und 2026

Abstract

Österreichs Wirtschaft erholt sich im Prognosezeitraum von der Rezession, die laut den revidierten Daten der Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnung (VGR) ähnlich kräftig ausfiel wie in Deutschland. Die Erholung wird vom privaten Konsum getragen, während der Warenaußenhandel zunächst noch schrumpft. Die Wohnbauinvestitionen ziehen dank sinkender Zinsen früher an als die Ausrüstungsinvestitionen. Moderate Lohnabschlüsse dämpfen 2026 die Reallohnzuwächse und verbessern die Ertragslage der Unternehmen. Die Inflationsrate wird im Prognosezeitraum sinken und die Arbeitslosenquote einen Plafond erreichen.
