El objetivo principal de este libro es brindar las herramientas técnicas y conceptuales que todo profesional necesita para evaluar económica y financieramente un proyecto de inversión desde un punto de vista privado, cualquiera sea su naturaleza o tamaño. Así, este texto constituye una herramienta útil para cualquier persona que, habiendo identificado y formulado convenientemente las diversas alternativas de inversión que enfrenta, requiere evaluarlas desde un punto de vista económico y financiero. Asimismo, y tomando en cuenta su diseño y estructura, este libro puede ser empleado como libro de texto por profesores y estudiantes vinculados al tema.
