Repensando la salud en el Perú

Abstract

En la presente publicación se analizan los retos que enfrentan en la actualidad el Estado y la sociedad para el logro de la equidad y la efectividad de la política sanitaria en un contexto descentralizado. El estudio se articula en torno a la búsqueda de respuestas a las siguientes interrogantes: ¿de qué depende tener oportunidades de buena salud en el Perú?; dentro de la experiencia latinoamericana, ¿qué rasgos de una reforma sanitaria son esenciales y comunicables al país?; y ¿cuál es el estado y la capacidad de respuesta que ofrece nuestro sistema sanitario? Por último, se presentan conclusiones y reflexiones finales para el desarrollo de políticas sanitarias que beneficien al país.
