Abstract

The report evaluates the emerging world trading system as a consequence of multilateral trade negotiations. The emerging trends and asymmetries are examined from the perspective of developing countries in different sectors. It identifies the problems and suggests policy options that can be pursued to build a trading system that is responsive to their needs and is sustainable in the long term.
