Abstract

The volume argues that judicious management of water resources is a critical policy issue for India as it is not scarcity but mismanagement and misuse of water resources that is the problem. The volume argues that Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) is a step in the right direction but the approach is yet to be fully integrated in the Indian context.
