Abstract

This work approaches a comparative analysis of election speeches of candidates to the Romanian presidency compared with the candidates the U.S. presidency in the final electoral confrontation between candidates. From the beginning, political power felt the need to form its own communication with the led, to take control of those media which escaped its domination, or to integrate groups expressing and forming dominant opinions.
