Abstract

En Colombia el régimen tributario de las Entidades Sin Ánimo de Lucro (ESAL) genera múltiples interrogantes con ocasión de los cambios experimentados en su regulación por la Ley 1819 de 2016,y más recientemente por la Ley 1943 de 2018. Este Cuaderno analiza el sistema tributario referido a estas entidades y su posibilidad de llevar a cabo actividades comerciales relacionadas, o no, con su objeto principal. Para ello se estudia de cerca el derecho español y se compara con la realidad colombiana.
