Abstract

Esta edição comemorativa da série RED da CAF reflete sobre os avanços e desafios do desenvolvimento na América Latina e no Caribe nas últimas décadas. Por meio de uma análise rigorosa, destacam-se conquistas significativas em inclusão social, saúde, acesso a serviços básicos e estabilidade macroeconômica, ao mesmo tempo em que se reconhecem as persistentes barreiras estruturais que limitam o crescimento sustentado e equitativo. Em um contexto de envelhecimento populacional e dupla transição — digital e verde —, o relatório propõe uma visão estratégica para transformar esses desafios em oportunidades de desenvolvimento sustentável, aproveitando as vantagens comparativas da região, como sua biodiversidade, recursos naturais e potencial energético. Esta publicação celebra vinte anos de conhecimento a serviço de um futuro mais próspero, inclusivo e resiliente.
